For God's Sake, Don't Confuse Jesus Christ and Ayn Rand

I admit that I have not read the Bible cover-to-cover, nor have I committed to memory who begat whom. The odds are that somewhere somebody has done both, but I doubt that there are many regular church-going people who have done either, let alone both. I presume that most people who go to church do so for the fellowship and for the biblically based sermons the minister thinks they should know. I have no issue with people doing that, but I choose to not participate for my own philosophical reasons. The main philosophical problem I have with attending church is that I am not Christian.

When people hear me say that I am not Christian, they often interpret it to mean that I am atheist. The truth is that I can't honestly make the commitments to faith that Christianity requires.
